ACE's 25th Anniversary
August 30, 2010, is a milestone in our company’s history. On that day in 1985 – 25 years ago – ACE Limited was incorporated.
The birth of ACE is an industry legend. At the time, there was an availability crisis in the U.S. insurance marketplace for excess liability and directors and officers coverage. Recognizing the need, a handful of forward-thinking pioneers helped form a consortium and pool the capital to create a new kind of insurance company, and ACE was born. Learn more.

Further to our May 19, 2010 dividend release, the CHF per USD exchange rate published on July 22, 2010 is 1.0503. Therefore the corresponding par value reduction on July 27, 2010 will be CHF 0.34.
